Fredrik chats with Mark Washeim about building apps for Sailfish OS and Jolla phones.
What’s it like to develop apps for a Jolla phone? Fredrik asked for experts on Mastodon. A whole list was quickly provided, with Mark both being at the top and very happy to say yes to coming on an episode. Maintaining over 50 apps and packages, and running Jolla phones for ten years, Mark really knows his stuff. We discuss his path to Jolla, how one gets started, which languages and tools are available, and why some of them aren’t quite the latest versions.
